The latest development news from The Maverick Group:

 

PARKS at BOULDER CREEK

  1. Closed on 30 acres on the east tract with Florida Capital. Plans are to build a 524 unit upscale apartment development starting in January 2007.
     
  2. We received a verbal commitment from Kroger's to place a 129,000 square foot store on the West Tract. We are curently negotiating the contract to either Build to Suit or sell the land. Other Outparcel users we are negotiating with include CVS, 2 Banks, Taco Bell and a number of other nationals retailers to be named later.
     
  3. We have started construction on a 70,000 square foot Shopping Center on the east tract . Some of the tenants currently negotiating on the site include Starbucks, Countrywide Mortgage and other regional and local tenants to be named soon.

 PROVINCE VILLAGE

  1. Chili's is about completed with construction of their restaurant and is looking to open for business by December 7, 2006. We have also started construction on our 26,000 square foot shopping center. We are negotiating with University of Texas Medical Board to occupy 20,000 square feet of the center and a 4,000 square foot Spa/Salon.
     
  2. The 32 acres of Townhome/Garden Home and 5 acre Office Park are under contract with a Houston Builder. Closing is scheduled for November 15 on the residential and December 15 on the Office Park.
 

BATON ROUGE - NEW DEVELOPMENT

  1. The Maverick Group has put 16 acres under contract on Old Hammond Hwy. approximatly 1/4 mile east of Sherwood Forest next to Ultima Fitness Club. Plans are to build a residential development with possibly some office on the frontage. Stay tuned!
